정착하지 않고 새로운 풍광을 찾아다니는
네오노마드는 유동적으로 사유하며,
‘공간과 병치’ 향방에 따라
새로운 서사를 표현하는 조형의 연출이다.
가상과 초월, 리얼리티가 공존하며
지리적 장소는 물론 현실세계와 가상공간 등
모든 경계를 초월한다.
네오노마드 시리즈 초기 작품부터 지속적으로 등장하는 구름과 물의 이미지는
새로운 세계의 구축을 위해 준비된 텅 빈 캔버스 화면처럼
드넓은 현실의 공간이자 비현실의 상징적 무대이다.
이 무대 위 동시적 공간에 함께 등장할수 없는
이미지들이 배치되어 각각의 시각적 배역에 충실하면
공간은 낯선 듯 신비로운 풍경으로 변화한다.
그리고 이 새로운 조형적 변화의 경계를 넘어서는 순간
풍경은 이내 낯익고 익숙한 현실로 전환되며
노마드의 서사를 만들어 간다.
네오노마드는 맞서듯 어우러지고 밀어내듯 서로 당기며 떠나듯 머물며
질서를 만들고 현실과 가상의 경계를 넘나드는
‘공존 현실’이자 ‘무한한 가능성의 공간’이다

The Neo-Nomad, who does not settle down but continuously seeks new landscapes, thinks fluidly and expresses new narratives through the direction of 'juxtaposition of spaces' in a sculptural manner.
Virtuality and transcendence coexist with reality, transcending all boundaries, including geographical locations as well as the real world and virtual spaces.
The images of clouds and water, which have appeared consistently since the early works of the Neo-Nomad series, are vast spaces of reality and symbolic stages of unreality, akin to blank canvas screens prepared for the construction of a new world.
When images that cannot coexist in this simultaneous space on the stage are arranged and remain faithful to their respective visual roles, the space transforms into an unfamiliar yet mysterious landscape.
And the moment this new sculptural change transcends its boundaries, the landscape quickly transitions into a familiar and well-known reality, creating the narrative of the nomad.
The Neo-Nomad both clashes and harmonizes, pushes away and pulls together, and stays while seemingly departing, creating order and crossing the boundaries between reality and virtuality, forming a 'coexistent reality' and a 'space of infinite possibilities.'
