현대인이면 누구나 태어나 자라오며 다양한 사회집단을 경험하게 된다. 작게는 가족, 친구 그리고 크게는 학교라는 소속과 국가에 이르기까지 인간이면 누구나 외면할 수 없는 이 사회적 소속감은 반대로 집단으로 부터의 소외감을 경험 하게끔 만든다. 작품에서 등장하는 '이방인' 즉 'strangers'들은 이러한 현대인의 대표적 초상이라 할 수 있다. 그들 내면의 심리적 갈등을 표출해내는 것으로 작업에 대한 근본적 시각은 'strangers'에 대한 동정심과 휴머니티에 근원하고 있는 것이다. 그러나 또한 나아가 그들의 스트레스를 어루만질 공간을 마련하고 있다.
이 공간이 바로 'The egg'이다. 이간이 삶으로부터 느끼는 가장 행복한 순간은 바로 집단의 구성이 이루어지기 전, 바로 어머니의 자궁 속이라고 생각 한다. 그곳이야 말로 정말 완벽한 사랑의 공간이 아닐까? 나는 현대인들이 사회로 인해 느껴온 고통과 스트레스들을 이 특수한 공간으로 끌어 들이고자 한다. 그리고 이곳에서 만큼은 그들의 상처를 치유하고 쉴 수 있게 되길 기원한다.

Episode 1.
This is the trace of bitter conflict between my wish as a women and the reality of our group.
The women who appear in my work are aware of the reality enough and represent women who can hardly bear today.
My point of view about the women is against to the traditional man and the rational view.
They don't care about the society and spectators's eye and want to show their grandness. They will be force to pose.
Each of those women resembles me. they want to go back to the origin of them which is the nature and the matrix, They shout a stop of the time and level in the world which is they are called themselves 'it' not 'man'.
They who in that space might breathe , take a rest and laugh at the society with full self-conceit in triumph.

Episode 2.
By the root, my point of view about work is the origin of the humanity and sympathize with 'the strangers' includes women in our society.
Also my point of view pursue the solution of the mental anguish and search another space as a solution.
The process of the whole work is the one of my self-examination and a trace which takes out my bruises in my life.

Episode 3.
I believe that artists have to improve their skill (at least me) when they want to communicate their work which express their philosophy and aspects.
I think carefully when their skill makes a profit, they can have a good command of variable vocabulary.
However, i have been training through a lot, therefore i do not limit a way of pictorial expression which appears in my work.
I think techniques and footprints of my life is a big bowl which can put my thoughts.
